Script Read Social Function

The Ulverstone Repertory Theatre Society Inc. warmly invites all members to a delightful social function in the Gawler Room on Sunday 25 August, from 5 PM to 6:30 PM. This engaging event will feature a prepared script reading of Alan Ayckbourn’s one-act comic play, Mother Figure, hosted by the esteemed Life Member, Michelle Best.

Following the reading, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a guided discussion that will focus on the theatrical elements of the play, providing insights into its themes  and characters.

The featured readers for this event include Elizabeth Jolly, along with Alexander and Amy Best, who are set to bring the characters to life with their performances.

To enhance the experience, refreshments and pizza will be available for tea starting at 6 PM, allowing members to mingle and discuss the play in a relaxed atmosphere.
